CA Final is the third and last level of Chartered Accountancy. Candidates who have cleared both Groups I and Group II of CA intermediate and have completed 2.0 years of practical training can appear for this examination.  The ICAI has recently changed the CA Final syllabus of the final exam.

CA Final exam overview

Like CA intermediate syllabus, the CA Final syllabus also has 6 subjects. The total mark is 600; since each paper in CA Final exam carries 100 marks. The candidate can appear for the exam either in English or in Hindi.

To clear the Final exam you have to score a minimum of 40% in each subject with an overall aggregate of 50%. The exam will be conducted twice a year (May and November). There is no negative marking for the wrong answer.
